Who We Are > Our Internationality
Our Internationality

We the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ, living in the midst of cultural realities, we realize that this complementarity challenges us to live in greater unity for better service in the universal Church. The Charism of communion to which the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ are called to live, becomes the energizing force for internationalizing, and thus, becomes a prophetic sign of union among themselves, with God and the whole universe.
Through internationalizing we challenge and support each other in our efforts to promote a New World Order. In a divided world scarred by injustice and divisiveness, the complementary of our congregational gifts and services becomes a sign of Unity. Our shared Charism, our common vision and mission are unifying factors that facilities internationalizing for the sake of the kingdom.
Shared faith vision and unity of mind and heart will promote the process of internationalizing. These demands of us respect for all cultures with openness and thus, purify and transcend our own culture for the sake of the Gospel. Our vowed life fosters greater inner freedom to commit ourselves to be welcomers of other in an all-inclusive universal love. Effective living of internationality will make us agents and experts of communion through inter-connectedness, inter-dependence, inter- relatedness and integration.
